What is the dosage of Vicodin?

Vicodin’s dosage is adjustable by a doctor depending upon the age, severity of symptoms, and body tolerance of a patient.

The usual adult dosage for 5 mg/300 mg is 1 to 2 tablets.
Do not exceed eight tablets of 5 mg/300 mg in a day.
Dosage for 7.5 mg/ 300 mg is 1 tablet.

In the above case, do not exceed six tablets.
Vicodin for 10 mg/300 mg is 1 tablet.

It is recommendable not to exceed six tablets in the above case also.
For all the above cases, 4 to 6 hours of gap is necessary to maintain between the doses.

What are the side effects of Vicodin?

Vicodin’s side effects are both standards, and non-common. Let’s see understand some of these side effects.
Common side effects of Vicodin are nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, vomit, constipation, etc.
The above symptoms can go away with time and regular consumption.
Therefore, medical attention in the above symptoms is not essential.
However, it may require medical attention in case any of the symptoms worsen.
Serious side effects are rare in such medication to occur.
However, some severe side effects are loss of appetite, fainting, shallow breathing, severe dizziness, trouble breathing, etc.
